BySteel (Portugal) & Tudor Hadirca Konstrukcje (Poland)
I had the great pleasure of photographing BySteel’s subcontractor assembling impressive steel structures for the modern Grand Paris Express stations near Orsay. BySteel, a renowned Portuguese company, plays a crucial role in this monumental project by delivering durable and innovative steel constructions that are shaping the future of Parisian transit.
The Grand Paris Express is Europe’s largest urban mobility project, expanding Paris’ metro network with 200 km of new automated lines and 68 state-of-the-art stations. This development will significantly improve connectivity between Paris and its suburbs, serving around 2 million passengers daily.
Capturing the scale and precision of this engineering feat was an incredible experience, highlighting the seamless integration of modern design and advanced construction techniques in one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure projects.
